What is SIMS Learning Gateway (SLG)?
Tudor Court Primary School is implementing SIMS Learning Gateway – a web based system of access to data held by school about pupils. SIMS stands for School Information Management System and is the database of information about everyone attending, working in or associated with the school.
With SIMS Learning Gateway (SLG) parents/carers will be able to access the following information about their child(s):

Daily attendance information

Previous attendance information
-
Mid year and end of year reports

Behaviour (coming next school year)
-
Information held on SIMS about your child(s)
With SIMS Learning Gateway (SLG) parents/carers will also be able to access the following information:
How do I access SIMS Learning Gateway (SLG)?
There are two ways to access the SLG website, first via the link on the Tudor Court Primary website homepage:
Second, by going directly to http://slg.tudorcourtprimary.com (you can save this web address as a favourite for faster access) and clicking on sign in.
Logging in and signing out of SIMS Learning Gateway (SLG)
At the log on screen you will be required to enter your username and password. This information will have already been issued to you. Be sure to enter your password with the correct case and characters. Click

If this is the first time logging on (or you are changing your password), you will be required to change your password. Passwords must meet the following rules to be accepted:
- Passwords must be at least 7 characters in length
- Passwords must contain at least 1 number (0-9), one upper case and one lower case alphabetical character
- Passwords must not be similar to your own name or username for example: bloggs1
- Users will be forced to change passwords every 84 days
Enter your username and password and press Log On. You will then see the homepage of SLG.

Once you have finished using SIMS Learning Gateway (SLG), you will need to sign out. This is done by clicking on Welcome "YOUR NAME" in the top right hand corner of the screen and selecting Sign Out
Once you have logged on, you can access several different services. These are listed below:
My Account Page
The my account page shows information about the logged on user. This includes name, home address and email address. On this page you can also change your password and security question and answer.

You must set your security question and answer. This is so a new password can be emailed to you if you ever forget your password.

This page shows some basic information about Tudor Court Primary School, as well as contact details.
My Children Dashboard
This page gives an overview of all your children that attend Tudor Court Primary School. From this page you can access pupil details, attendance information, conduct (from next school year), assessment summary, mid-year and end of year reports.

Viewing my child(s) mid-year and end of year reports
General report information
Reports will be made available through SIMS Learning Gateway (SLG) from predefined dates.
Reports will be in PDF format and can be read online, or saved and printed at home. You will need PDF reader software on you computer to view reports. You can download one
